Yes, that's the big question. Anyone who knows me can't help but notice that I love to share ideas, so it would seem that blogging would be a natural thing. But it's not.
I've considered blogging for years - even created a couple that never even got their first post. What should I write? Who should I write for? And why would they want to read it?!

So then the next question is: How do I see things differently? What makes my perspective on the world unique? I'm a mom, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a Christian, a reader, an organizer, a student, a teacher, a crafter, a shopper, a bargain-hunter, a do-it-yourselfer. I have read blogs about all of these things, but can't imagine my own blog being about any one of them.
Actually, I can't see my own blog being LIMITED to any one of them. How is it that I view all these different aspects of my life? Through what lens?

And that's when I knew. I see the world from the perspective of art, as well. But my art is the Art of Teaching. This blog will be an attempt to share how this unique lens of learning has shaped my life and continues to guide me through a maze of connecting ideas and divergent experiences. I hope to be more intentional about noticing how my "Teacher-Tinted Glasses" color my view of the world and give voice to the unique experience that I share with those who have a heart to change lives and connect the world through learning.
